Double Chocolate Banana Bread

I found this recipe on Pinterest. I love Banana Bread and Chocolate, so it seemed a no brainer to put the two together.
Recipe adapted from The Sister"s Cafe

1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/3 cup oil
1 1/4 mashed bananas
1 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray the bottoms of a 8x4 inch loaf pan.Dust it with flour after it has been greased.
  2. Combine flour, cocoa, salt, baking soda, in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  3. Beat the sugar, oil, and eggs in a large bowl at medium speed until combined.
  4. Beat in the banana, and vanilla at low speed.
  5. Beat flour mixture into the banana mixture at low speed, just until combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Spoon batter into prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or when toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool ten minutes. Remove from the pan onto a cooling rack to cool completely.  Cut and enjoy.
