We found this dish to be especially good. Served with mashed Potatoes it is divine I must say. So worth the 6 hour wait.
Adapted from Six Sisters
1-2 pound Pork Roast
2/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup honey
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons dry basil or oregano
2 tablespoons minced garlic
2 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
- Spray crock pot with non stick cooking spray.
- Place Roast in slow cooker.
- In a small bowl combine the cheese, honey, soy sauce, basil, garlic, oil and salt.
- Pour over Pork Roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours.
- Removed Roast to a serving Platter, keep warm.
- Skim fat from cooking juices.and transfer to a sauce pan.
- Bring liqid to a boil.
- Combine water and cornstarch until smooth.
- Gradually stir into boiling liquid and bring to a boil.
- Cook for about 2 minutes or until thick.
- Slice Roast and serve with gravy. Mashed Potatoes.
