1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter softened
1 lemon juiced
Zest of 1 lemon
4 eggs
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
additional lemon zest.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a mixing bowl mix together the flour, sugar, and salt.
- Cream the softened butter into the flour mixtrure.
- Blend the Eggs well and mix them with the lemon juice and lemon zest from the frest lemon.
- Mix the egg lemon mixture into the butter mixture.
- Spread into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- When Lemonies are cooled, mix the powdered sugar 2 tablespoons lemon juice, and lemon zest and spread on top for a nice glaze.
