Skillet Cassoulet Recipe

Skillet Cassoulet Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 pound smoked turkey kielbasa cut into 1/2 inch slices
1/2 fully cooked boneless ham cubed
4 medium carrots sliced
2 celery ribs sliced
1 medium red onion
4 teaspoon oil
4 garlic cloves
2 cans(15 ounces) kindney beans rinced and drained.
2 cans(14 1/2) diced tomatoes drained
1 1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions

  • In a large skillet, saute the kielbasa,ham, carrots, celery, and onion in oil until sausage is brown and vegetables are tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer.
  • Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 4-5 minutes or until heated through. This is great served over rice. Yields 6 serving.
